Resume Page

You have the option of having the Resume page be Visible or Hidden (the default is Visible). To make the Resume page Hidden from your web site click the Make it Hidden link directly under the heading. To make it Visible again, click the Make it Visible link.

Add Resume Header Text

On the Resume Admin page, under Resume Header Text , click ''Edit'. Enter header information in the Text field.

Once you are finished entering information, click Save. You will be returned to the Content Manager Admin page and you will see a confirmation on the left-hand side that reads “Text Saved”. If you do not wish to save your information/changes, click Cancel.

Edit/Delete Resume Header Text

On the Resume Admin page, under Resume Header Text , click Edit. Either make changes or delete all the information in the Text field.

Once you are finished entering making changes, click Save. You will be returned to the Content Manager Admin page and you will see a confirmation on the left-hand side that reads “Text Saved”. If you do not wish to save your changes, click Cancel.

Add Resume

On the Resume Admin page, under Resume Download , click Add

  • Resume - Word (.doc) File: either enter the full path of the desired file (i.e. C:\My Documents\Resume.doc) or click Browse and navigate to the desired file on your local, attached or network drive and click Save. A link to this document will be displayed on the Resume page
  • Resume - Acrobat (.pdf) File: either enter the full path of the desired file (i.e. C:\My Documents\Resume.pdf) or click Browse and navigate to the desired file on your local, attached or network drive and click Save. A link to this document will be displayed on the Resume page

On the Resume Admin page, test the dowload of your Resume document by clicking Download

Delete Resume

On the Resume Admin page, under Resume Download , click Edit. Check the Delete checkbox and click Save.

Add Categories and Individual Items

On the Resume Admin page, under Categories and Individual Items , click Add a New Category

  • Name
  • Sort Order this number represents the order the Categories/Individual Items will appear on the page. Lower numbers at the top of the page, higher number at the bottom.

Note: empty Categories are not displayed, you must add at least one Individual Item for the Category to be displayed.

Edit/Delete a Category

On the Resume Admin page, click Edit Category:

  • Edit Category: on the Resume Category Edit page, once you are finished making changes, click Save. You will be returned to the Resume Admin page. If you do not wish to save your changes, click Cancel
  • Delete Category: on the Resume Category Edit page, click the Delete button and click Yes to confirm

Add a New Item

There are two ways to enter a new item:

  1. From the Resume Admin Page
  2. By clicking the View items () link in an existing Category

On the Resume Item Edit page:

  • Category: choose from the drop-down
  • Item Date (YYYY-MM-DD): for sorting, new items at the top, older on the bottom
  • Display Date enter * if you want no date to display
  • Item Text

Once you are finished entering information, click Save. You will be returned to the View Items Assigned to Category page. If you do not wish to save your information/changes, click Cancel.

Edit/Delete an Item

On the View Items Assigned to Category page, click Edit this item:

  • Edit Item: on the Resume Item Edit page, once you are finished making changes, click Save. You will be returned to the View Items Assigned to Category page. If you do not wish to save your changes, click Cancel
  • Delete Item: on the Resume Item Edit page, click the Delete button and click Yes to confirm
